Business Development Associates lead our team in engagement, discovery, and solutions by engaging with community members and employing their problem-solving skills to provide the most knowledgeable customer service and enrollment practices available. As a Business Development Associate, we provide you with the tools necessary to help you reach career growth that coordinates with your lifestyle and professional intentions. We are looking for those who pay attention to detail, have enthusiastic conversations with those around them, enjoy expanding their interests/knowledge, and can adjust to the client’s styles of customer service and sales development strategy.
What you will be doing as a Business Development Associate:
- Qualify, educate, close sales, and enroll individuals into plans that meet the consumer’s needs
- Adhere to compliance and training requirements to offer appropriate product recommendations to customers
- Aide in fostering a cohesive, team-oriented environment while understanding and enforcing our culture
- Assist the Business Development Associate team in exceeding established goals for the branch by driving sales revenue and increasing customer retainment
- Handle all customer relations issues per company policy and promote a positive sales experience
- Stay current on our client’s products, services, and sales by participating in meetings, conferences, Zoom calls, and networking events
- Develop comprehensive knowledge of each department’s (e.g., Marketing, Sales) daily processes and goals
- Gaining knowledge of our company policies, protocols, and processes to embrace our mission fully
What we are looking for in a Business Development Associate:
- Business-Related Bachelor’s Degree or Associate Degree is preferred but not required
- 1+ years in a customer service, retail, sales, administrative, client relations, or a similar position is preferred
- Ability to take on a difficult task and learn from the mistakes to improve processes
- Interested focus on customer relationships, customer contact, sales process, and customer-focused consulting
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
- Exceptional public speaking and confidence in front of a large or small audience
