Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with seniors, or other individuals in need of assistance
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions as required
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and well-being of the individual
- Engage in activities to promote socialization and cognitive stimulation
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning and laundry
- Maintain accurate records of care provided
Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of working with individuals with developmental disabilities, seniors, or patients requiring specialized care (e.g., dementia)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client locations
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact compassionately with individuals in need of care
- Basic first aid knowledge and the ability to respond to emergencies calmly and effectively
