Nutrition Operations Manager
The Nutrition Operations Manager will manage Nutrition Program logistics to ensure consumer nutritional needs are met currently and in the future.
This is a full-time, exempt (35 hour/week) position. Our office is located in Malden, MA with ample free parking!

Top 5 Key Activities:

Improve operational management systems, processes utilizing technology and best practices to ensure effective driver coverage, timely delivery to consumer and meal site compliance

Lead in supervising, mentoring, training and hiring of Nutrition Staff
-
Collaborate with program Director and Managers to enhance, expand and improve the Nutrition Program
-
Oversee that caterer delivery and drivers are equipped with correct meals for their consumers
-
Collaborate with Director on Farmers Market Program and other outreach community events
Other Activities:
-
Manage and ensure department technology is used in accordance to MVES policies and procedures
-
Facilitate field staff meetings; coordinate and deliver in-service training sessions as needed
-
Monitor staff retention, turnover, and satisfaction
- Cross collaboration with all departments for best practices
- Coordinate and assist in the development and implementation of new initiatives and programs
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's Degree preferred required with 3-5 year of related field experience
-
Experience in working in/with Elder Services, Home Care program, Senior Care Options and/or disabilities preferred or a minimum of 2 years of experience in related field

2-5 years of management/supervisory experience
-
Strong analytical, managerial, communication, and leadership skills
-
Project management skills
-
The ability to manage multiple high priority objectives/projects

Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate across all levels, including staff, board members and external partners

Highly resourceful team player, with the ability to work effectively independently or as a team
-
Demonstrates a willingness to take on new tasks with a general attitude that no task is too small, impossible, or cannot be improved

Expertise in the following platforms: Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint), Adobe Pro, Zoom and other web-based applications
Physical Requirements of the Job:

Ability to lift, push, pull and carry objects weighing up to 25-50 pounds

Ability to climb up and down stairs unassisted

Ability to travel into the community - private transportation required

Work requires regular standing, stooping, and bending
