Seeking a candidate that is interested in working in a medical front office. This is a part time position Monday through Thursday. Medical experience is not necessary. We need someone that has a history of not missing work and is punctual.
The most recent receptionist had no medical experience at all and has done wonderfully. Qualities that are necessary are outstanding people skills, a friendly and welcoming demeanor, professional appearance, punctuality, positive energy, strong organizational skills and general interest in wanting to help others. Additionally, familiarity with Google docs and Microsoft Office programs is highly valued.
Also, you need to have a history of being able to report to work on time and not have a history of missing work. You must be able to multitask.

You will work closely with the doctor regarding medical treatments and interacting with patients regularly, and this interaction can be a great learning experience for those going into the medical field.
Hours from 830am to 430pm but some days we finish earlier and other days later.
Job duties include managing all clerical aspects of a medical practice:
- Answering phone calls and taking appropriate messages
- Greeting patients upon arrival
- Ensuring patients complete required paperwork
- Maintaining medical records (filing and/or organizing) in both paper and electronic format
- Helping the physician with various tasks associated with minor medical procedures
- Invoicing patients and collecting payment
- Scheduling follow-up appointments
- Data entry of patient information and supplement orders
- Intake of patient and taking vital signs
- urine specimen collection and preparing to send out via UPS
Qualifications:
- Positive attitude
- Ability to be punctual
- History of not missing days at work.
- A stable work history and previous experience in medical field is a plus
- No criminal history
- Legal US resident with excellent command of the English language
- Working knowledge of Google documents, Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
- Ability to multi-task and learn quickly
- Mature and professional demeanor and appearance
- Enjoy interacting with patients in-person and on the phone
- Flexibility to work extra hours, if needed
And most importantly, someone reliable and trustworthy.
