Flow Derivative Sales

As a Barclays Flow Derivatives Sales, you will be responsible for driving sales strategies, managing client relationships, and expanding our market presence. You will be selling and buying equities and equity derivatives on behalf of clients, developing trade ideas, delivering content and market views. This is a high-powered role that is performed often at an accelerated pace. As a Flow Derivatives Salesperson, you will learn to make instinctive decisions based on limited information and intuitive acumen.
Salary / Rate Minimum: 155,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: 250,000

What will you be doing?
- Maintaining client relationships with existing clients and establish relationships with new clients
- Executing client orders to facilitate liquidity across Equity cash, options, ETFs, delta 1
- Generating option trade ideas for clients
- Selling the Equities Research, Syndicate, Cash, Derivative and Prime products to Institutional clients
- Building lasting internal relationships to foster the Equities ecosystem
- Working on client due diligence and maintaining proper adherence to our frameworks
- Working on improving current functions and technology with testing and automation
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience on an Equities Sales platform
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage client relationships
- Deep experience in facilitating customer trades within flow derivatives capacity
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Demonstrated ability to make instinctive decisions based on limited information and intuitive acumen
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills
- Experience in financial Markets
Where will you be working?
You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 32-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
