What’s the position?
We are seeking a motivated and technically skilled NOC Engineer with a passion for Site Reliability Engineering to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the reliability and performance of our network infrastructure while gaining valuable experience in SRE practices. Responsibilities:

Monitor network infrastructure and systems for performance, availability, and security.

Respond to alerts and incidents promptly, diagnosing and resolving issues to minimize downtime.

Collaborate with senior SREs to implement automation, tooling, and monitoring solutions.

Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 system availability.

Assist in capacity planning and optimization efforts.

Document operational procedures and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

Continuously improve incident response processes and contribute to post-incident reviews.

Contribute to the development of SRE best practices and standards.
What are we looking for?
Requirements:

2-4 years of experience in a Network Operations Center (NOC) or similar role.

Basic understanding of networking protocols and concepts.

Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Experience with incident response and Jira.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
Preferred:
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Junior-level experience in a Site Reliability Engineering role.

Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g., Python, Bash).

Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Understanding of DevOps and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) principles.

Certification in relevant areas (e.g., CCNA, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
Working Conditions: This is a full-time position that may require participation in an on-call rotation. Occasional work outside of standard business hours may be necessary to respond to critical incidents.
