Elementary educators develop interdisciplinary, thematic units that challenge students to utilize critical, creative, and problem-solving skills in meaningful ways. Project-based learning is central to our philosophy that empowers learner agency. Through differentiation, learners are guided to master major concepts, processes and skills as they build connections between ideas. At La Piazza Academy, scholarship is a developmental process of breadth and depth. Children are given opportunities for self-directed inquiry as well as collaboration with their peers.
