We are seeking a passionate and experienced Child Care Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our child care facility, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care. The Child Care Director will manage staff, develop educational programs, and build positive relationships with families and the community.
Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Provide visionary leadership and guidance to staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of the child care center, including staffing, scheduling, and budget management.
- Staff Development: Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate teaching and support staff to ensure high-quality care and education.
- Parent and Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with parents, guardians, and the community through effective communication and engagement initiatives.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding child care operations and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the budget and financial resources of the child care center effectively.
Qualifications:
- Assocaites degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a child care or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of child development and early childhood education principles.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and community stakeholders.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
