DISPLAY BOARD BUILDER
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
THE FUNCTION FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
· Build product displays per the approved drawings.
· All functions, duties, or tasks must be done honestly, ethically, and professionally.
· Builder is expected to follow approved drawings only.
· Work with the Inventory Control Specialist to maintain inventory for materials
· Create a production schedule for all displays being built.
MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
One year of construction or building experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the job's essential functions, as determined by the company.
· Must be self-motivated and perform the duties with minimal supervision.
· Demonstrated ability to abide by and exhibit proactive adherence to all safety
regulations and policies
Demonstrated experience in
· Woodworking
· Tile setting
· Use of power tools
· Use of measuring tools
· Use essential tools (e.g., hammer, nails, T-square, saw, etc.)
WORKING CONDITIONS (TRAVEL, HOURS, ENVIRONMENT)
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderately noisy.
This is an entry-level position with the company that, for the right individual, can lead to further advancement.
PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS Physical Work
– Ability to exert 30 – 60 pounds of force occasionally, or 20-30 pounds of force frequently, and greater than negligible up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Employees must often use their hands and fingers to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
