The Fleet Department aims to provide the best looking, most dependable, safe, and cost-effective fleet solutions in the industry, while supporting quality, efficiency, and profitability throughout the organization by focusing on the key components of training, maintaining, and repairing as we support operations across 45 branches.
Responsibilities:
The Northern Regional Fleet Manager will help support our Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland branches with:

The hiring, training, development, evaluation and management of Shop Managers, Mechanics, and other shop staff

Management of our Fleet’s reconditioning programs from scheduling, training, monitoring, communicating and successfully obtaining the commitments needed to meet individual branch deadlines

Ensuring Ruppert shop systems are in place and used to manage our fleet to align with company’s deliverables and KPI’s

Ensuring repairs are handled timely and properly tracked

Ensuring vehicles maintain the image in accordance with company policy

Invoice approval and overall financial responsibility to the equipment overhead budgets for assigned branches

Provide direction on proper O/H inventory levels

Assist shop managers and their branches building and managing budgets

Participating in training and safety calls, and supporting initiatives
- Maintaining DOT and safety compliance through our Fleet Maintenance Programs and reporting requirements
Qualifications:

Experience in a retail repair shop, private fleet or for hire carrier as a Class A Technician, Shop Foreman, or Service Manager.

Experience managing multiple business units

5+ years of industry experience in fleet maintenance management or operations capacity within the Landscape Industry

Strong MS Office Skills including Word and Excel

Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude

Knowledge of Federal DOT rules & regulations, OSHA
- Ideal candidate would be located in the Mid-Atlantic geographic area as travel to the branches they support through MD, DE and PA is required

Landscape Industry experience a plus
