Botetourt County is currently accepting applications to fill the position of Administrative Assistant to County Administration.
This position performs responsible secretarial and administrative work involving the performance of clerical and stenographic tasks; does related work as required. The Administrative Assistant to County Administration is responsible for performing skilled, professional and high-level administrative work in providing direct assistance to the County Administrator, Deputy County Administrator, and the Board of Supervisors through a wide range of assignments and projects. An employee in this class performs general office duties independently with only general supervision. This employee must possess the skills necessary to keep and maintain orderly meetings and updates the Board of Supervisors minute and ordinance books. This employee works directly under the County Administrator.
