Alf Bakery is currently looking for hard-working, punctual, self-starters, to join as Lead Bakers. These positions interface directly with Head Baker Amadou Ly and the small team of passionate bakers. Candidates should have experience mixing and laminating dough. Pastries make people smile, and it is critical team members have a warm, hospitable attitude and temperament, and enjoy making people happy :)
Responsibilities and Duties
- Mixing and laminating dough
- Skillfully operating commercial ovens, mixers, and other equipment
- Production-style baking
- Ensuring product is produced at the highest of quality and meet Alf standards
- Being a team player and working with a sense of urgency
- Keeping work area clean, organized and stocked
- Participating in cleanliness and health code compliance of the bakery
- Other related responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- A minimum of a 2+ year of relevant baking experience
- A minimum of 1+ year experience with laminated dough
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Clean and neat with great attention to detail
- Willingness to work as a team
- Ability to be on one's feet for an extended period of time
- Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work weekends
- Morning and afternoon shifts available
