Triumph Pharmacy is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Supervising Pharmacist to join our team. As the Supervising Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy while providing exceptional patient care. This position requires proficiency in utilizing Micro Merchant Systems and a strong commitment to teamwork.
**Responsibilities:**
- Typing new prescriptions accurately and efficiently using Micro Merchant Systems.
- Managing prescription refills promptly to ensure seamless service to our patients.
- Facilitating communication with healthcare providers to clarify prescription details and address any concerns.
- Utilizing outcomes websites and completing Medication Therapy Management (MTM) interventions to optimize patient outcomes.
- Counseling patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and other relevant information to promote adherence and well-being.
- Collaborating closely with pharmacy staff to maintain a positive and supportive team environment.
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards to uphold the highest level of patient safety and confidentiality.
- Actively participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
- Active pharmacist license in NY
- Proficiency in Micro Merchant Systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to providing outstanding patient care and promoting positive health outcomes.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred, but not required.
