The Residential Security Team (RST) Agent has a very unique, complex, and important role here at JPT. It is imperative that all agents understand the following job duties and responsibilities:
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for safeguarding the client, their family, and personal property within the property.
- Demonstrate effective communication and customer service with client(s), their family members, associates, team members, staff, and any vendors/contractors.
- Provide excellent client services by being personable, professional, proactive and responsive at all times.
- Monitor surveillance camera systems, life safety devices, and panic alarms.
- Maintain up to date knowledge of local emergency services and routes within a given area of responsibility.
- Maintain and conduct regular equipment inventories, and vehicle checks.
- Provide emergency first aid/CPR if needed.
- Perform security patrols and sweeps of the property and neighborhood.
- Contact the Police and/or Fire departments in the event of an emergency.
- Access control for visitors and vendors.
- Screen, log, and sanitize all incoming packages/deliveries.
- Multitask between handling client requests, maintaining vehicles, or any other task that arises.
- Privacy, discretion, and loyalty are paramount to this position.
- Follow a customized Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Be able to accurately write reports on incidents and suspicious activity/people.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Required: California Guard Card
- CPR/First Aid/AED qualified
- Required: 3 years of experience in Residential Executive Protection
- Ability to work irregular or extended hours (shifts to include nights, weekends, and holidays).
- Pass pre-employment background investigation.
- Possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Possess a valid and current California driver license
- Possess a valid U.S Passport
- Maintain a high level of physical fitness.
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
- Be able to pass a pre-employment physical.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- California Exposed Firearms Permit
- Prior attendance of an EP training program or academy
- Exceptional report writing skills
- Experience working with high net worth individuals and families
- Valid CCW/LEOSA license
