The Customer Service Representative will interact with the company’s customers by addressing inquiries and resolving complaints. Work hours are Monday – Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This is a remote work from home position.
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for answering inbound calls from clients and directing calls to the appropriate parties while ensuring client satisfaction. This position helps support the Client Claims team in communicating with the clients and furthering client claims through the Social Security disability process.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Interacts with customers via telephone, email, or in person to provide support and
information on services. -
Collects and enters information for services.

Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the
representative’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate
staff. -
Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers’ problems and
concerns. -
Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of
inquiries, complaints, or comments. -
Performs other related duties as assigned.
WORKING KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

High School Diploma or GED required

Associate Degree preferred

Customer service experience required

Telephone experience is required

Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM

Must be able to talk on the phone and type at the same time

Excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills

Must have your own internet and desk/work area

Must pass a background check and typing test

Must have a quiet area for a home office away from noise and distractions

Excellent communication skills including active listening.

Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.

Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.

Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.

Ability to sit for a long period of time.

Must be proficient in the use of today's technology.
