Virtual Auto Appraisal Supervisor
A five star client is seeking an Auto Claims professional with experience handling Auto Appraisals, reinspection, and team management for a Virtual Auto Appraisal Supervisor role. The Virtual Auto Appraisal Supervisor directs, controls, and monitors the work within the Virtual Estimating Team and ensures the investigation, coverage, damage assessment, along with settlements and negotiations are completed in accordance with State(s) regulations and our policies and procedures.
Position Overview: The Virtual Auto Appraisal Supervisor directs and controls work of their unit and other areas assigned. A significant portion of the candidate's day to day activities involve technical and administrative responsibilities associated with the unit.
Key Responsibilities:

Review & approve damage and settlement amounts that exceed Staff's authority levels.

Organize and coordinate auto re-inspections, ensuring that all inspections are conducted in accordance with departmental procedures.

Administer operations, including managing teams, troubleshooting technical issues, and monitoring performance.

Review and approve all appraisals, ensuring that all claims are accurate and complete.

Train auto appraisers on Mitchell Estimating Software as needed.

Complete special projects as assigned by Management. Out of state travel will be required between Claims offices.

Travel may be required while participating in CAT claims.

Must be able to obtain the necessary license/s within 90 days.

Hybrid setting: 4 days inhouse, 1 from home.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree preferred.

3+ years of appraisal experience.

Experience with Estimating Software (Mitchell preferred).

Auto Appraisal and/or Adjusters licenses in CT, NH, NJ, NY, MA, PA, and other states a big plus!
