Foster Coordinator
The Arizona Humane Society is looking for a dedicated full-time Foster Coordinator to join our Foster Team. This position will report to our state-of-the-art Rob and Melani Walton Papago Park Campus and work in our Foster Department, one of the largest in the nation. A Day in the Life:
As the Foster Coordinator, you will assist the operations of the Foster Department by championing AHS' core values of innovation, compassion, and excellence. You will work alongside the team to model and teach effective communication and animal handling skills while offering support, coaching, feedback and ensuring departmental day-to-day efficiencies. You will promote and support a culture of innovation, compassion and excellence with a positive, can-do attitude.

High school diploma/GED.

Minimum of two years' experience in customer service.
- Six months to one year experience in an animal welfare environment is required.

Must be able to safely and humanely handle animals in all stages of recovery.

Ability to train team members and volunteers in job duties and safe animal handling.

Excellent internal and external customer service skills.
