Position Summary:
Service Greeter ensures customers are welcomed to the dealership immediately upon arrival in a warm, inviting and professional manner. The position is responsible for “wowing” customers with a warm and friendly greeting, assistance, and always outstanding customer service.
Goals and Expected Behaviors:
1.Increase/improve customer retention and loyalty for the entire dealership and company while achieving excellent customer service scores

Greet customers, employees and visitors with a smile in an enthusiastic and friendly manner

Walk customers to amenities including restrooms, refreshments, reception area, service or other areas of the Dealership accessible to customers

Assist customers anytime and anywhere in the dealership

Insure customers have a surprisingly great experience

Act, speak, dress and behave professionally at all times

Anticipate the customer’s needs by listening and asking clarifying questions

Involve Sales Managers in any customer concern or issue
2.Insure customers are promptly and efficiently taken through the write up process

Communicate with service advisors all necessary information

Follow set processes 100% of time

Perform a vehicle walk-around with every customer

Organize and maintain efficient work flow

Minimize distractions

Refrain from conducting personal business during shop hours
3.Maintain a safe dealership and work in accordance to safety standards

Lift and carry objects according to safety procedures

Wear slip resistant shoes

Ask for assistance when lifting and/or carrying heavy objects
-
Keep dealership clean and free from slip, trip and other hazards
4.Exceed the expectations of internal and external customers

Provide customer service beyond the expectation of the customer

Maintain a professional image and demeanor

Keeps the customer refreshments stocked and customer refreshment area clean at all times

Essential Functions of the Position

Skills, Education and Certification Requirements:

In-state driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Moderately good computer skills

Ability to effectively build a rapport with others

Strong oral communication

Organizational and time management skills
-
High School Degree, GED or equivalent experience
Physical Demands

Works outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures including rain, snow, heat and cold

Stands, sits and walks frequently during their shift

Climbs stairs occasionally

Lifts and carries objects up to 25 pounds occasionally

Travels throughout the dealership and lots frequently on foot
