Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our team. Assists in construction activities of new fast-food restaurants in Mall food courts as well as renovations of existing restaurants throughout the United States. Responsibilities include coordination of project plans, plan logs, bid process and analysis, contractor selection, meeting minutes, processing daily project paperwork. Assists in monitoring schedules, contract preparation, applications for payments, change orders, lien releases, and closeout documents. Performs a variety of tasks in a blend of environments including site documentation, coordination of equipment deliveries, material deliveries, coordination of owner’s vendors and occasional site visits. Deals directly with all personnel involved in construction projects; including but not limited to Architects, Engineers, General Contractors, Project Managers and Building Officials.
Duties:
- Communicate daily with various general contractors, consultants, Landlord representative and company departments regarding any aspect of a particular project.
- Assists in monitoring the construction drawings, plan logs and construction bid documents.
- Assists in contract preparation.
- Assists in the processing of vendor invoices, contractor application for payments, lien releases logs, close out documentation.
- Reviews construction drawings, bid documents, project specifications to fully understand a projects scope of work.
- Assist in prerequisite requirements for project permitting.
- Prepare/record any requisite pre-construction notices (i.e., Notice of Commencement, Permit applications etc. as applicable).
- Assist in soliciting bids from general contractors, follow up with bidders, preparation of bid analysis.
- Coordinate with electric, telephone, and gas utility providers on utility layouts and related engineering.
- Assist department in various duties as needs arise.

Education and/or Experience
- Minimum associate's degree in an Applied Sciences or approved equal Construction Related Field. Or a Minimum 3yrs working experience as or for a Licensed General Contractor, Assistant Project Manager or Construction Project Coordinator. Restaurant experience and proficiency with Auto CAD is a plus.
