In-Home Respite Caregivers- Non-Medical/Non-Transportation
Job Type: At-Will, Part-time/On Call
Pay Starting: $20
Shella is seeking professional and compassionate respite caregivers to provide support to clients, many who are disabled. As a respite caregiver, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of care possible. Our client populations reside in Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, and Orange Counties.
Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Personal Care Services: Bathing, Dressing, Toileting, Lift, Transfer, Assist and Clean-up after soilage or messes.
- Meal Preparation: Prepare Clean-up after feeding, and spillage.
- Light Cleaning services include but not limited to: Wipe down, laundry, dusting, take out trash, client need.
- Daily Enrichment Activities: Crafts, puzzles, reading, and or board games.
- Report/Communication: All incidents, injury, or suspicion of any abuse. Act and respond quickly in case of emergency.
Caregivers Requirements:
- Be Caring & Compassionate
- 18+ with Valid Identification
- Completed & Clear Live Scan
- Vehicle and Auto Insurance
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Negative TB Test
- Physically Lift 35lbs.
- Smart Phone and Email
- Be able to read, write and understand basic English.
