Overview:
The person in this position is part of the team concept at Allure Institute, which is devoted to the delivery of outstanding care in an ambulatory setting with emphasis on patient satisfaction. Assist the RN and the clinical staff in performing their duties and carrying on the necessary functions required in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
-Completely fill out lab slips, mammogram prescriptions, pre-operative prescriptions and informed consents.
- Stock exam rooms with adequate supplies and report supplies that need to be ordered accordingly.
-Obtain laboratory samples and complete paperwork as ordered by the provider (including submitting insurance information to laboratory).
- Guide patient through pre-operative appointment (i.e. proper paperwork signed, instructions reviewed with patient, copies/prescriptions given to patient, blood drawn, photos taken).
- Prepare patient for surgery (i.e. perform HCG test, proper patient attire, transportation from facility verified).
- Assist staff in OR as needed (i.e. flash instrumentation for following case, clean OR after cases).
- Care for patient in the recovery room area (i.e. monitor patient, record vitals, promote patient comfort).
- Triage and process messages from patients and front office staff to appropriate staff member.
-Take telephone messages and provide feedback to patient/physician/pharmacy.
-Answer phones as needed and schedule appointments.
- Collect payment from patients for services rendered such as injections and products purchased; document on proper form.
- Follow up with companies regarding receipt of credits/reimbursements from defective implants.
- Record data as per policy (i.e. Botox, fillers, sterilization log, refrigerator temperature log, surgical log).
- Verify patient arrival times for surgery with physician; confirm with patient day prior to surgery.
- Call consult and pre-operative appointments prior to confirm.
- Greet new and existing patients at the desk.
- Provide correct paperwork to patients to fill out for appointment.
- Create/update patient charts as needed.
-Request patients create online reviews for facility to promote advertisement.
-Update/maintain online data for sending advertisements/appointments.

Suturing experience a plus!
