Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Overview: As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational leadership of our financial functions. You will oversee all financial aspects of our facilities, ensuring financial health, sustainability, and compliance with regulatory standards. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and collaborates closely with senior leadership to drive financial strategies aligned with our mission of delivering exceptional healthcare services.

Financial Planning and Strategy:

Develop and execute financial strategies that align with organizational goals and enhance financial performance.

Lead the annual budgeting process and provide ongoing financial forecasting and analysis.

Monitor financial metrics and performance indicators to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Financial Management:

Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, revenue cycle management, and financial reporting.

Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, senior management, and regulatory agencies.

Manage cash flow and liquidity to support operational needs and strategic initiatives.

Risk Management and Compliance:

Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard hospital assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Assess financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to protect the hospital's financial interests.

Coordinate audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and healthcare regulations.

Strategic Leadership:

Provide strategic financial advice to the CEO and senior management team.

Evaluate and advise on the financial impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies, and regulatory action.

Drive initiatives to optimize revenue generation, cost containment, and operational efficiency.

Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including financial institutions, investors, and regulatory bodies.

Collaborate with department heads and senior management to align financial objectives with operational priorities.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation highly desirable.

Proven experience (typically 10+ years) in progressively responsible financial leadership roles within healthcare or a related industry.

Strong understanding of healthcare finance, reimbursement methodologies, and regulatory requirements (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid).
