Sr. Manager, Production
The Senior Manager, Production reports to the Sr. Director Manufacturing and will be responsible for performing planning, coordination, and control of manufacturing processes and resources; leading production staff to ensure high Quality, low cost and On-time delivery to our valued customers; and driving Continuous Improvement activities to enhance Safety and production efficiency.
Responsibilities

- Direct the development and implementation of activities in production, warehouse and receiving areas to meet all goals, quality, and cost objectives
- Continuous Improvement champion for Production. Drive and manage quality and efficiency improvements through the supply chain. Relentless passion for Safety, product quality, cost and customer satisfaction (On-time delivery)
- Drive root cause failure analysis and execute corrective action plans
- Manage production and material handling personnel while driving continuous improvement initiatives
- Meet shipment requirements for on time availability of consumables based on customer requested land dates
- Ensure production and warehouse floor policies, procedures and work instructions are maintained and followed
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly production metrics
- Manage and execute ISO9000, ISO14001 and ISO 45001 compliance and requirements
- Manage and execute production scope of the NPI process.
- Active participant representing Production on the Environmental Committee executing quarterly metrics and team projects
- Active participant representing Production on the Health and Safety Team, managing production health & safety issues and concerns
- Management and leadership representation for Business Continuity Planning
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Strong organizational and follow up skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment
- Strong MRP knowledge
- Strong abilities in creating motivation, integrity and responsibility within a team
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
- Ability to resolve escalating customer issues (both internal and external) in a collaborative, partnering and professional manner
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree. BS in a Technical field preferred.
- 7+ years background in a production related function
- Previous experience as a front-line supervisor
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical field
- 6-Sigma Black Belt
- Lean QMS experience
- Supply chain experience
- SAP, Agile, Access, Excel & Tableau
- Flexographic printing background

- Frequent and constant deadlines

Base Compensation: $126,877 to $181,253
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as location, education, experience, and skillset.
