General Maintenance
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated General Maintenance professional to join our team. The role involves ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities through various maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and possess excellent leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize schematics and logic controllers to diagnose and repair maintenance issues
- Perform residential painting as needed to maintain the appearance of facilities
- Supervise maintenance tasks and provide guidance to maintenance staff
- Maintain and update records using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance needs promptly
- Keeps a maintenance log and writes shift reports.
- Responds to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion.
- Collaborates with the maintenance team and contractors as needed.
- Reads and follows manuals, blueprints, and other written instructions.
- Uses equipment, including power tools, hand tools, electric tools, and plumbing tools.
- Inspect buildings, systems, and equipment regularly to identify potential issues
- Troubleshoot any issues

- Perform minor fixes, such as repairing broken locks, damage to walls, etc

Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting at least 50 pounds.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in English to effectively communicate with team members and vendors
- Experience using an Ohmmeter to troubleshoot electrical systems
- Strong leadership skills to effectively supervise maintenance activities
- Ability to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and functionality in facilities
- Prior experience in facilities maintenance is preferred
