ABOUT LODESTONE ACADEMY AND WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A BCaBA
WE ARE AN ABA PRIVATE SCHOOL. WE'VE BEEN IN THE ORLANDO AREA FOR OVER 10 YEARS. WE ARE WELL ESTABLISHED. LODESTONE ACADEMY IS LOOKING FOR A BCaBA TO ASSIST THE CLINICAL DIRECTOR IN THE CLASSROOM AND OUT OF THE CLASSROOM. THE POSITION OF BCaBA IS A SPRINGBOARD FOR UPWARD MOVEMENT TO SENIOR MANAGEMENT FOR THE RIGHT PERSON. THE BCaBA WE ARE LOOKING FOR WILL HAVE STRONG EXPERIENCE WITH STUDENTS/CHILDREN WHO ARE ON THE AUTISM SPECTRUM. A BCaBA WITH EDUCATION EXPERIENCE IS CERTAINLY A PLUS.
Below are some of the responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients
- Implement and monitor behavior intervention programs
- Provide ongoing supervision and training to behavior technicians
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate treatment progress and make necessary adjustments
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care for patients
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis
Requirements:
- Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) certification
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, behavior analysis, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Experience working as an BCaBA
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient care practices
- Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and assessments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
