Critical Care Transport (CCT) Registered Nurses Needed for Ambulance Transport working 12-hour or 24-hour shifts at our South Bay Station in Los Angeles

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Critical Care Transport Nurse performs essential life support, advanced life support, and critical care nursing. The CCT Transport Nurse provides direct patient care to the ill for patients who require cardiac monitoring, IV medications, and ventilators. Applicable ambulance transports are performed for critically ill patients needing transfer between two hospitals for continuing care services at a higher level of care due to services not being available at the sending hospital.

JOIN US! WE ARE HIRING FOR OUR CRITICAL CARE TRANSPORT TEAM. THESE FOLKS ARE MEDICS, RNS, AND EMTS ON MOBILE AMBULANCES TRANSPORTING CRITICALLY ILL PATIENTS.
A typical day consists of waiting on stand-by for a trauma that requires a mobile intensive unit with a rapid response that is equipped for medical emergencies.
This job requires the RN to be in command and control of the ambulance and mobile team acting quickly on the best method to ensure the stability of the patient while providing immediate medical relief for the patient in preparation for further medical aids once the care has been transferred to the receiving hospital.

Required Credentials:
To be eligible, you must possess the following credentials:
- California Registered Nurse's License
- BLS/CPR
- ACLS
- PALS
Experience Required:
RN Two (2) years of critical care (ER, ICU, or other critical care areas) within the previous 18 months.
