Care Hawaii is seeking Registered Nurses to join our team for our Behavioral Health Crisis Center. The BHCC is a secured unit which offers services to community members experiencing a mental health crisis. RNs will work under the care of a APRN/Psychiatrist and QMHP as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Position Summary:
This member of the multidisciplinary team is responsible for conducting assessments; assessing physical health needs; making and supporting appropriate referrals to community physicians and for mental health services; providing medication management and administration of medications in conjunction with the psychiatrist; providing a range of contracted treatment, rehabilitation, and support services.
Position Qualifications:
- Minimum Education: Must meet the following minimum educational requirements: Associate's degree in Nursing
- Required Experience: One (1) year of nursing experience. Psychiatric nursing experience preferred
- Required Certification/Registration: Must be licensed to practice in the State of Hawaii. Basic Life Support (renew upon it's expiration)
- CPR (upon hire)
- First Aid (upon hire)
- Physical (Pre-employment & Annually)
- TB Clearance (2-step - upon hire) Annually
- CPI or similar training
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem
Pay: $44.00 - $51.00 per hour
Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
