Overview:

G&A Partners' client is currently seeking a Producer Editor to join its team in College Park, GA.
Summary
The Producer/Editor has the primary responsibility for the conceptualization and creation of commercial spots, special programming, testimonies, convention specials, partner specials, and holiday specials. Including upgrading specified segments of CYW Broadcast and supervises spot productions for Change Experience events. This position will also edit all foreign and international shows.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for seeing spot productions through from conception to final cut.

Responsible for researching, writing and editing content (e.g. scripts, soundbites, images or B-roll, etc.) for specials elements.

Responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that’s suitable for direct response spots.

Report, write (including voice-overs and sound-to-tape), capture visual content, edit and produce stories for multiple platforms.

Quality control checks elements.

Manage and collaborate with Producers and Production Team.

Edit the Foreign Broadcast (Portuguese translated programming) and editing the transcripts to accompany the programs to be translated.

Editing Video Product masters (DVD & MP4 file formats). Will be responsible for uploading the Product files to Drop box for MOD and the International Offices.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
-
High School diploma required; BA in Broadcast Journalism, Media or Communications is preferred

Must have 5+ years of relevant experience in the media industry.
EXPERIENCE:
-
Outstanding interpersonal and community relations skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively within a diverse group.

Prior experience leading a team of creative individuals preferred.

Video production experience essential.

Must possess strong writing skills.

Must possess the ability to work in a collaborative, creative team environment.
