The Development Release Engineer will be collaborating with cross-functional, distributed teams, to troubleshoot and verify current lab and production issues. Due to that, strong analytical skills, the ability to analyze software logs, an understanding of code, and an open mindset are necessary. As part of daily duties, a Development Release Engineer will be contributing to preparation of a customized configuration files and verifying them together with other team members to provide stability and resilience to the final product and develop a code with .NET C#.
Position Responsibilities:
· Generating new configurations and installation packages using internal tools.
· Analyzing and editing JSON and XML configuration files.
· Close cooperation with Development, QA and DevOps teams in delivering patches and new versions of the application.
· Active participation and facilitation of the project meetings.
· Analyzing the code of applications created in the .NET C# environment
· Development of applications in the .NET C#
· Follow our SCRUM methodology including attending daily standups and other SCRUM meetings.
· Tracking and reporting on development progress and field issues.
· Help to troubleshoot and verify bugs and errors reported.
· Help to set up and maintain test environments with various configurations.
· Building and maintaining the application packages to roll out our product for field and factory
· Improving and maintaining the software distribution process using internal tools
· Developing and maintaining field and factory processes
Qualification Requirements:
- .NET C# knowledge
- JSON, XML knowledge
- Experience with Agile software development / Scrum methodology.
- General IT knowledge
- DevOps – Familiar with software source control, bug tracking, build process and the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem resolution skills
- Ability to work independently and keep stakeholders informed of progress toward goals.
