The Business Development Manager is responsible for all sales activities within a defined geographical territory . This is a new sales, hunter role which will cover the high desert region, such as Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Cathedral City, Banning, Barstow, Indio.
This is a base plus monthly commission role.
Responsibilities:
- Develop new business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing solutions
- Conduct market research to identify potential new clients and business opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to achieve revenue targets
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments to provide strategic insights to clients
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Business Development Manager or in a similar sales role, hunting for new Business
- Strong knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and close sales deals
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and identify opportunities for growth
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
