- Develop, inspire, and motivate a large team to deliver the highest degree of hospitality
- Ensure that food, liquor, and labor cost are at or below budget at all times
- Oversee and own a department that correlates with the P&L and projected budget
- Oversee purchasing, inventory, and scheduling in that department
- Complete tasks and projects given by the General Manager within a timely manner
- Working with the General Manager to learn and develop in order to grow vertically in the restaurant
- Demonstrate proactive leadership at all times
- Actively participate in the recruiting, hiring, coaching, and training as needed
- Knowledge of basic human resource functions and processes
- Maintains a safe and sanitary work environment at all times
What You Need to Bring to the Table
- 2+ years of Management experience
- High volume restaurant experience is a must
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong passion and dedication to food, beverage, and service
- Introductory Sommelier Certification a plus!
- Polished, professional and energetic approach to floor management
- Ability to work well in a systems-driven environment
- Basic Knowledge of MS Office and common restaurant systems and software (i.e. Restaurant 365, Micros, OpenTable, etc.)
- Ability to be adaptable and abide by policies and values of company
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
