ABOUT THIS POSITION
What does a Home Support Specialist do?
We provide socialization support for our valued clients.
We support clients with medication administration and treatment for health conditions.
We participate with and encourages meal planning and cooking with the client.
We provide support and training around nutrition, budget, safety, home organization, and home maintenance.
We assist clients in identifying meaningful life goals; offer the support necessary in achieving those goals.
We document experiences with clients.

QUALIFICATIONS
You possess a caring and compassionate heart.
You have a willingness and ability to learn and interpret instructions in supporting individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
You have the ability to pass a Live Scan (Department of Justice) background check.
You have the ability to become CPR/First Aid certified (we train in-house!)
Possess a CA driver's license and insurance to transport the supported individual within the community in your own vehicle.

CONDITIONS OF HIRING BONUS
The first $250.00 will be payable on the first pay period after the new employee is hired, trained, and begins working with clients.
The second $250.00 bonus will be payable on the first pay period after the new employee has fulfilled the provisions of their probationary employment.
All full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible to participate in our health, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits plans.
Pay Rates:
Waking Rate: $20.00
Overnight sleeping Rate: $15.50
Starting weekend day and evening Rate: $22.00
