We are seeking a detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support and ensure efficient office operations for a fast-paced, dedicated and supportive Spine Surgery team! This position is part-time, permanent requiring support only 3 days a week.
Duties:
· Answer phone calls, faxes and emails; directing calls and taking messages
· Organize and maintain physical and digital files
· Assist with receiving and sorting mail
· Receiving and sorting faxes
· Scanning of documents and bills
· Schedule patient appointments as needed
· Provider MD fee schedule to legal inquiries via phone/email
· Request external medical records
· Collaborate with billing team to provide them with office/visit information when
needed
· Additional administrative tasks to support the team as determined by management
Requirements:
- Medical office experience
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage office tasks efficiently
- Familiarity with EMR: EPIC is a plus or similar EMR software
- Experience with MS Outlook and Excel
