Everyday Order is a home organization company working with clients to help them declutter and set up systems to thrive.
The purpose of this role is to work directly with the Team Lead to help individuals and families declutter and organize various spaces in their homes. This role guides and supports clients to manage and organize their lifestyle, family, and environment while utilizing the Everyday Order standard and methods, keeping client goals in mind and producing a balance of form and function.
Associate Organizers are the hands that make the magic happen on organizing jobs. The responsibility of an Associate Organizer is to be productive, flexible, focused, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
Associate Organizers are imperative to the success of every job. They help to create a wonderful organizational foundation, cater to important details, and tie up any loose ends. Associate Organizers may act as runners at times, as the Lead Organizer may need them to shop for products or haul donations mid-job. Associate Organizers make it possible for a beautiful result in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Lead Organizer at each job
- Carry load and unload products out of the van to the client’s home
- Take before photos and videos when needed
- Set up the space to prepare to work
- Work with a team to sort and categorize items
- Keep workspace clean by removing trash and donations
- Wipe down cabinet shelves and drawers
- Place items back into their new homes
- Create labels
- Remove donations and bring them to the van
- Drop off donations when needed
- Sweep or vacuum the space
Requirements:
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to sort and categorize in detail using our method
- Exceptional communication skills required
- Passion for customer service
- Punctual and reliable
- Able to take direction and work in a team environment
- Self-motivated and hardworking
- A positive, “can-do” attitude is a MUST
- Consistent weekday availability
- Ability to work on your feet for several hours in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to use a step stool or small ladder
- Able to tolerate typical household odors that derive from pets, dust, smoke, or fragrances
- Associate’s degree or Certification of any type in a field of study
- Professional organizing training is provided
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 40 per week
