Job Summary
The Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring site safety and compliance with industry regulations. They are responsible for conducting regular inspections, identifying potential hazards, and implementing appropriate safety measures. Additionally, they cultivate positive working relationships with owners, managers, supervisors, and subcontractors, promoting a safety-focused culture and providing guidance on safety protocols and best practices.

Responsibilities
Corporate Safety Program Implementation
- Assists Director of Safety with maintenance and development of Delphi’s Health and Safety.
- Collaborates with supervisory staff, subcontractors, and other Delphi staff to discuss and resolve problems, including work procedures, complaints, and safety issues.
Team Building
- Provides project supervision in partnership with other Safety Department staff.
- Enforces compliance with corporate and project policies.
Subcontractor Safety Compliance
- Conducts daily jobsite reviews and implements corrective action based on established policies and procedures.
- Issue notice to comply and/or safety fines when applicable.
Controls and Reporting Management
- Assure accurate and comprehensive documentation of accidents and incidents in conjunction with the Director of Safety.
- Compiles monthly safety reports for project meetings.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Minimum 2 years of Safety experience in a related industry preferred.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
