Human Resources Generalist
Overview:
Join our team as a Human Resources Generalist where you will play a pivotal role in supporting our organization's human resources functions. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for various HR activities to ensure the smooth operation of our workforce.
This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, compensation, recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, employee and organizational development, payroll and benefits administration, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance for all company locations.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Recruitment and Onboarding
- Coordinate and implement recruiting initiatives
- Manage job postings and candidate screening across all functional areas
- Conduct new employee orientations and onboarding processes
Employee Relations:
- Act as point of contact for employee inquiries and issues
- Conduct investigations and provide resolutions for employee relations issues
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace
- Maintain an effective employee relations program through company events, individual commemorations, community activities and other initiatives; Coordinate and approve activities of those providing assistance in these areas.
- Conduct exit interviews and off-boarding processes
Performance Management:
- Assist in the performance evaluation process
- Provide support to managers in employee performance and development planning
- Facilitate training sessions for staff on performance management and improvement systems
Benefits Administration:
- Manage and administer various employee benefits programs
- Handle open enrollment, terminations, and coverage changes
- Provide support to employees on benefits-related issues
Compliance and Policy Management:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures
HR Administration:
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy
- Prepare HR reports and analytics as needed
- Assist in developing and implementing HR initiatives and systems
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and assist in the creation and delivery of training programs
- Coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees
Compensation Management:
- Support the compensation management process, including job descriptions, job evaluations, job progression and salary surveys
- Assist in the development and administration of pay policies
- Provide primary backup support for payroll processing
Other projects and duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
- Five or more years’ relevant experience
- SHRM-CP or SCP; or PHR or SPHR
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to walk outside, between buildings, and in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
