**Overview:** We are seeking a detail-oriented MDS Coordinator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Medicare regulations, medical terminology, and coding practices. Experience with HEDIS, ICD-10, and HIPAA compliance is highly desirable. **Responsibilities:** - Coordinate the completion of MDS assessments for patients in a healthcare setting - Ensure accurate and timely submission of MDS assessments to meet regulatory requirements - Collaborate with healthcare providers to gather necessary patient information - Utilize knowledge of primary care and pediatrics to accurately assess patient needs - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Epic software for documentation purposes - Assist doctors and medical staff in coding procedures and diagnoses **Requirements:** - Proficiency in Medicare regulations and MDS assessment process - Strong understanding of medical terminology, ICD-10 coding, and HEDIS measures - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance standards - Experience working in primary care or pediatrics is a plus - Familiarity with Epic software for electronic health records is preferred Join our team as an MDS Coordinator to contribute to the quality care provided to our patients while utilizing your expertise in Medicare guidelines, medical coding, and healthcare documentation.
