I am looking for an Office Assistant to join our small team and provide help to support the operation. This role would involve communication with clients, administrative tasks, research & ordering, local errands and miscellaneous projects.

AN AVERAGE WEEK INCLUDES
-answering incoming phone calls & responding to voicemails
-initial triage of incoming email, flag for assignment to others, train spam filtering
-reviewing outstanding client wishes & reaching out to them for followup work
-tracking client equipment to make sure we're not dropping any balls
-circling back to clients that haven’t responded to communication
-meeting clients at office to get/give equipment
-delivery & pickup of client computers
-monitoring long processes & moving things forward (scans, transfers, installs, etc)
-light tech support for things you’re confident with
-data entry & reorganization
-paper-based processing & organizing
-meetings with owner & other staff
-transcribing owner’s voice memos
-misc errands for business & owner
-managing your own to do system
-asking owner for guidance/help in matters of sales, service & office operations
-doing online/AI research
-product ordering for client, inventory & internal use
-processing incoming shipments & taking action if something is delayed
-opening & processing incoming packages & postal mail
-recording check payments & thanking clients
-carrying computer equipment & supplies to & from upstairs storage
-prepping eBay sales for shipping
-tidying & light cleaning of office
INCENTIVES
if the position is held for 6 months, you qualify for a week of paid vacation.
If the position is held for 12 months, there is a raise to $19/hr.
if the position is held for 18 months, you get 2 weeks of paid vacation.
