Bilingual Staff Accountant: Spanish & English
Summary
The ideal candidate is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, assist
managers, ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and provide advice and guidance to clients on financial matters. Organizational skills will be key for this fast pace and growing company.
Responsibilities
- Perform complex accounting activities and financial analyses of General Ledger and
Income Statements
- Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual statements
- File and maintain client records and adhere to client confidentiality policy.
- Update accounting knowledge by keeping current with best practices, with support of
staff training
- Year-end financial statement reviews
- Support managerial staff in administrative duties as it pertains to client services
- Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the
accounting and finance team or with other departments
- Assist with financial and tax audits
- Performs other related duties as assigned (reports, analysis and review processes)

- Familiarity with accounting software and programs
Qualifications
- 3+ years professional accounting experience, either in a public accounting firm or in a
private corporate environment
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, math, business administration, or a related
field
- English proficiency required and second language (multilingual) proficiency preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the phone, and in writing
- Previous experience with any accounting software – Accounting CS & QuickBooks
knowledge preferred
- Knowledgeable user of IT and Microsoft Office Suites
- Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
