Job Summary:
The HVAC Warehouse Inventory Manager will oversee all aspects of inventory management for our warehouse operations. This role involves managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of HVAC materials and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory control, warehouse management, and HVAC systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate inventory records using inventory management software.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials and equipment as necessary.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Warehouse Operations:
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of HVAC materials and equipment.
- Ensure proper handling, labeling, and storage of inventory to maintain product quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
- Assign tasks and monitor performance, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews.
- Develop and implement training programs to improve staff skills and knowledge.
- Logistics and Coordination:
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Schedule and oversee deliveries to job sites, ensuring accurate and on-time deliveries.
- Collaborate with project managers and field technicians to meet project requirements and deadlines.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain proper documentation for all inventory transactions and warehouse activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or similar role, preferably within the HVAC industry.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, materials, and equipment.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate warehouse equipment safely.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
