Job Description:
As the Marketing Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event coordination, social media marketing, referral relations, and brand promotion. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including venue selection, logistics, and vendor management.
- Manage supervisor's calendar and marketing calendar, assisting with scheduling events and working with the marketing and internal teams.
- Support and develop marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, and online advertising.
- Support the ordering and creation of marketing materials and other items
- Create engaging content for social media platforms to promote events and increase brand awareness.
- Execute customer service-oriented communications including but not limited to emails and phone calls.
- Collaborate with team members to brainstorm creative ideas and strategies for event attendance and engagement.
- Provide on-site support during events, including setup, registration, and attendee interaction.
- Conduct tours of the facility or other facilities in the community as needed by supervisor
- Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Educational Preferences:
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Relevant coursework or previous experience in marketing, event planning, or related areas is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and social media platforms.
- Proficiency or familiarity with Outlook 360 platform (Mail, OneNote, etc.)
- Proficiency with Adobe Suite and Hootsuite or similar social media tools.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
