Job Summary:
We are a start-up tax software looking for a skilled Technical Project Manager to join our development team. The role involves managing the successful execution of innovative tax strategy planning projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence while managing several outsourced development teams.
Required skills include technical proficiency, translating problems to engineering, client communication, and understanding of ChatGPT, AWS, and the SAAS model. Soft skills needed are customer support, politeness, a growth mindset, emotional intelligence, resourcefulness, initiative, and assertiveness.
Summary of essential job functions
- Onboarding and Tools Mastery: Learn the product, teams, and project management tools (HubSpot and ClickUp) within the first 45 days to assist in weekly sprints and maintain the product roadmap.
- Feature Development Support: Under the guidance of senior team members, support the development and launch of new tax strategy planning features within the first 3 months.
- User Engagement: Assist in increasing user engagement and satisfaction by 15% within the first year.
- Efficiency Improvement: Help reduce project delivery time by 15% through learning and applying efficient project management practices.
- Quality Assurance Participation: Participate in QA processes to ensure improvement in UI/UX design, website development, OCR, and AI.

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal relations skills; transparent with information. Ability to talk to executive level and developers.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, and proven ability to deliver time-sensitive projects on time with positive outcomes
- Welcomes solving problems with a positive attitude, teamwork, and innovation
- Entrepreneurial approach – a high degree of autonomy and self-motivation
- Natural curiosity and willingness to learn, whether it’s new technical skills or understanding of client-specific requests
- Educational Background:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- At least 1 years of relevant experience in software development & Kanban methodology
- Experience working with Accounting Software is a plus.
- Reviewing, updating, and understanding Tax Strategies is a plus.
- Understanding and following AI trends.

Work Environment:

Pay Range
$60,000 - $70,000
