Our KCP Medical Assistants support the vision and mission of the organization and continually work to collaborate with all clinical services staff in support of direct patient services. Our Medical Assistants are responsible for a variety of patient care, technical, and clerical related functions in a manner that places emphasis on quality of care and excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- Current, valid MA certification
- Current, valid CPR certification
- Two years of MA experience highly desirable
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; Able to read, write, and comprehend English
- Experienced in computer data entry/typing
- Demonstrated customer-first attitude and philosophy
- Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate and effective skills for communicating with all ages served, via in person, by electronic mail or telephone
- Able to multitask and react positively to frequent changes in duties and volume of work; Adaptable; Reliable
- Culturally sensitive and demonstrated ability to work with ethnically diverse populations
- Working knowledge of universal precautions
