IAA, an RB Global, Inc company, is seeking a Branch Manager IV to join our team in Dallas/Ft. Worth branch located in Grand Prairie, TX.
This Auction Manager role is for IAA’s flagship remarketing auction location. Auction Manager will be responsible for the overall performance and operations for our IAA Dallas Grand Prairie location. This role combines leadership, strategic planning, financial oversight, and effective communication to drive success for our clients and teams. IAA’s Dallas Grand Prairie location is annually designated as one of IAA’s Top 20 revenue locations and top remarketing wholesale auction. This role will be tasked with building and supplementing an operations procedure for lot transformation, vehicle logistics, and designing a staffing plan framework that fits a whole car/ remarketing model. The Auction Manager is responsible for ensuring the location meets or exceeds its planned profitability, sales, and customer service levels. The Auction Manager interacts with customers from all segments and all levels of staff within IAA and is tasked with maintaining an engaged, safe, and positive work environment by managing and mentoring local staff.
What Do IAA Branch Managers Do?

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall performance and auction operations of IAA’s premier remarketing auction location
- Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and opportunities.
- Develop and implement new methods of internal procedures to improve efficiencies.
- Ensure the branch/service center meets or exceeds its planned profitability, sales, and customer service levels.
- Successfully market the branch/service center within the approved expense budget.
- Lead employees using a performance management and development process that encourages employee contribution and includes goal setting, feedback, and performance management where required.
- Support and handle all personnel issues, including hiring and terminating employees.
- Drive business and branch growth.
- Update the area/regional manager regarding profit and loss operating results of the branch.
- Ensure the overall safety and security of all branch personnel and company assets.
- Provide oversight and direction to employees in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
- Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with the overall organization's mission, vision, guiding principles, and values.
Competencies:
- Solid P&L and budget experience
- Strong automotive remarketing background and experience within the automotive industry
- Excellent customer relations skills and the ability to manage multiple levels of employees
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a department and its staff members
- Proficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills
- High level of confidentiality
- General knowledge of various employment laws and practices and employee relations
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic economics, budgeting, and accounting principles and practices
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in wholesale car sales or vehicle remarketing is mandatory
