Martens Plumbing & Heating is actively seeking a dedicated Plumbing Apprentice or Journeyman to join our dynamic team. As a vital member of Martens, you will play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems for both residential and commercial customers. Responsibilities:
- Promptly respond to service calls, addressing plumbing repairs, installations, and maintenance tasks.
- Skillfully diagnose plumbing system issues, providing effective solutions to our valued customers.
- Repair or replace malfunctioning plumbing fixtures, such as faucets, toilets, sinks, and water heaters.
- Expertly clear clogged drains, pipes, and sewer lines using the latest tools and techniques.
- Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance on plumbing systems to identify potential problems and ensure optimal functionality.
- Collaborate closely with customers, understand their plumbing needs, and offer expert recommendations and options.
- Install new plumbing systems or components in compliance with necessary building codes and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate records of services rendered, parts utilized, and customer interactions.
- Adhere to safety protocols, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Maintain a tidy and well-organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of plumbing experience.
- Wisconsin State Apprentice License is required.
- Wisconsin Journeyman Plumbing License (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and codes.
- Exceptional diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using plumbing tools and equipment.
- Capability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Outstanding communication and customer service abilities.
- Adaptability to work independently or within a collaborative team setting.
- Possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
