Job Summary:
The Distribution Center Coordinator at a Clean Power Store is responsible for managing the daily operations of the distribution center, ensuring the efficient processing, storage, and dispatch of solar energy products and components. This role requires a detail-oriented individual capable of working independently to maintain high levels of accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily activities within the distribution center, including receiving, storing, and shipping solar panels, inverters, and other related components.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage stock movement to prevent discrepancies and ensure the availability of essential components.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Liaise with transportation providers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of solar energy products.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to optimize load and route planning, with a focus on minimizing the carbon footprint.
- Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment to maintain high customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of all distribution activities and generate reports for management review.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is required. Logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
At least 1 year of experience in a distribution or warehouse environment is desired, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
Knowledge of solar energy products and their handling requirements is a plus.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
