Brown Point Facility Management Solutions, LLC. is looking to hire a Vendor Management Specialist to support our growing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing vendor relationships, overseeing procurement processes, and ensuring efficient supply chain operations.
Duties:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and quality of products
- Manage contracts with vendors and negotiate favorable terms
- Coordinate logistics to streamline the flow of goods from suppliers to the organization
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues that may arise
- Utilize MRP systems to track inventory levels and forecast demand accurately
Skills:
- Proficiency in MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems
- Experience in procurement management and supply chain operations
- Strong contract management skills with the ability to negotiate effectively
- Knowledge of logistics processes and best practices
- Ability to procure goods and services efficiently while maintaining quality standards
- Excellent supplier management skills to foster productive vendor relationships
