Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations at our facility. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and upkeep of all equipment and systems, as well as supervising a team of maintenance technicians. This is a leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively manage a team.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and ensuring work is completed in a timely manner
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure efficient operation of equipment and systems
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address any issues promptly
- Oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or services
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment inventory
- Train and mentor maintenance staff on best practices, safety protocols, and new technologies
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and minimize disruptions
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field is preferred
- Proven experience in maintenance management or supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of industrial maintenance practices, including low voltage and high voltage systems
- Familiarity with facilities management principles and practices
- Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Solid understanding of logic controllers and other automation systems
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
