Requirements for the role:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of materials science principles, including the structure, properties, processing, and performance of materials.
- Familiarity with laboratory techniques and equipment used in materials characterization (e.g., microscopy, spectroscopy, mechanical testing).
- Ability to assist in the research, development, and testing of new materials and processes.
- Knowledge of materials selection criteria for various engineering applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply scientific principles to real-world engineering problems.
- Good organizational and project management skills, capable of contributing to multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, for collaborating with research teams and sharing findings.
- Eagerness to learn and stay updated with advancements in materials science and engineering.
