About The Role:
We are seeking a passionate, results-oriented Commercial Solar Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing commercial solar systems, knowledge of utility rate structures and requirements, understanding of AHJ requirements and electrical systems, and experience training sales representatives.
Key Responsibilities (Utilizing Our Proprietary Software):
- Design commercial solar systems.
- Assess the commercial viability of solar projects.
- Train and mentor commercial sales representatives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, addressing inquiries, providing technical expertise, and guiding them through the sales and installation process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in designing and estimating commercial solar systems, with a strong understanding of utility structuring and engineering principles.
- Familiarity with financial analysis and ROI calculations for commercial solar projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and mentor sales representatives.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret technical data.
- Certification in solar energy or related fields (NABCEP certification) is a plus.
